Pompilia is a modern interpretation of the ancient Capitalis Monumentalis – the Roman Capitals. The proportions and the letterforms of this historical sample were respected to design an elegant and delicate display font. It inherited the name of the second king of Rome, Numa Pompilius (753–673 BC, reigned 715–673 BC). Photography: David Vargas.
